Culture is not static, but constantly evolving. Secondary IV students (Grade 10) enrolled in a 2-year archaeology class are challenged to compile data and create a map of an archaeological site or region which illustrates major cultural shifts. Students' complement base maps created in ArcGIS 9.1 with aerial photos, portraits, timelines, charts, place names and other sources to provide a more complete context.
