Travel Smart is a pilot project led by York Region in partnership with the Town of Markham and the City of Vaughan that promotes the use of active and sustainable transportation modes. Households in the communities of Cornell and Thornhill will be provided personalized information kits outlining the benefits of active transportation. A central part of these information kits is this community map that identifies sustainable travel modes including transit, bike routes and off-street paths, as well as local destinations such as schools, community centres and parks. An online interactive version of this map will soon be available.
