Professional Services
Want to help implement and build GIS solutions?
The Professional Services team is the most common career path for our former associate GIS analysts. Staff in Professional Services help Esri Canada customers implement and optimize their GIS. Services they offer include ArcGIS product installation, configuration and migration, custom application development, strategic planning, and system design and architecture.

Consulting gives me the chance to apply my skills on projects that result in comprehensive GIS solutions and workflows. I also get to work on projects from the ground up and design solutions, and I find it satisfying to address a customer’s GIS challenges. That leads to lasting relationships with customers, which benefits everyone involved.
Customer Support
Do you love helping people and solving problems?
The Customer Support team delivers world-class assistance to our customers and colleagues. Whether it’s tackling mission-critical challenges or smoothing out minor bumps on the road to GIS success, Customer Support helps GIS users forge ahead seamlessly. If you have a passion for both people and creative problem solving, you’ll feel right at home.

Working on the Enterprise Support team is both a challenging and rewarding experience. No two days are the same, with different types of cases coming in all the time. I get to work with both the ArcGIS Enterprise stack and with products that support ArcGIS Enterprise. And if I’m ever stuck on where to go next with a support case, I have a collaborative team who are always willing to help.
Technical Marketing
Do you love showcasing the power of GIS to others?
The Technical Marketing team promotes the use of ArcGIS technology to existing and prospective customers. It’s a great group that leverages their technical skills to help increase adoption of Esri technology in a growing GIS community.

Helping other GIS users and public speaking have always been passions of mine. In my role, I've been able to expand my skills in these areas, showcase our products to clients and help them find success with Esri products. Showcasing that success in webinars, blog posts, YouTube videos and conference talks then inspires other GIS to new successes of their own.
Community Maps
Do you love building maps?
The Community Maps Program is part of a worldwide Esri initiative where organizations contribute their local geographic content to a global community map published and hosted by Esri. Community Maps analysts actively engage with data contributors, help them get their maps online, ensure that their data meets specifications, process data and produce the basemap—among many other things.

Working with the contributors to the Community Map of Canada has been the highlight of my time at Esri Canada. I’ve been able to foster long-term professional relationships with municipal customers. Engaging directly with them allows us to understand their work, prioritize important data, contribute to their projects and build meaningful connections with them.
National Training
Do you love teaching GIS to others?
Our National Training team offers a comprehensive array of training courses designed to empower individuals and organizations in harnessing the full potential of their Esri products. Our instructors facilitate online courses on a variety of Esri products.
