Be part of the search
Corporate social responsibility is integral to our business mission and we are proud to support Missing Children Society of Canada (MCSC) in assisting police and families in active and ongoing searches for missing children across the country through our technology and services.
In partnership with MCSC, we developed MCSC rescu, a web app that helps find missing children in Canada faster by enabling the public to be part of the search. Users of the app can view information on missing children in Canada, subscribe to receive SMS text alerts on new cases in their area and submit tips on existing cases.
Powered by ArcGIS
MCSC rescu leverages various components of Esri’s ArcGIS technology, the world’s leading GIS platform. Public safety organizations worldwide use ArcGIS to create a common operational picture (COP) that delivers real-time situational awareness and collaboration capabilities. ArcGIS serves as the backbone of integrated public safety systems, supporting all four phases of emergency management – preparation, mitigation, response and recovery. Esri technology is integral to supporting Next Generation 9-1-1 and emergency response, intelligence-led policing, fire protection, wildfire management, national security, critical infrastructure protection, search and rescue missions, and mobile field deployments and helps advance successful digital transformation throughout the organization.
